Although it was a hot one, we managed to spend some time outside today playing (you guessed it!) more kickball and Bobcat Ball. Inside we made sure to take some time for silent reading and also tried a new "science" experiment of sorts! At the bottom right, you can see some of the kids mixing together glue and cornstarch to make our homemade bouncy balls. Although they weren't as bouncy (or as ball. . .) as we had hoped, they were still fun to make! It's hard to believe that Week 1 is almost over already!
